Recent research has shown that the absorption of two key carotenoid antioxidants—lycopene and beta-carotene (high concentration in red grapefruit)—increased significantly when paired with fresh avocado. In fact, some studies have shown that increase to be as high as 200%-400%.

So, without further ado - Go pick up these 3 ingredients & get eating!
- 1 Red Grapefruit, peeled & diced
- 1 Avocado, diced (do your best to include the darker green flesh at the very inside of the skin. This layer of the avocado is particularly nutrient rich)
- 1/2 pomegranate, seeded (optional, but very yummy)
- sprinkle of sea salt, optional
Combine all ingredients in a bowl & gently stir to combine. Eat up!
